- 120g powdered sugar (icing sugar), sifted
- 25g fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- Place the powdered sugar into a medium mixing bowl.
- Add the lemon juice. Whisk well until completely incorporated.
- If you need the glaze a little thinner, add a little more lemon juice. If you need it thicker, add more powdered sugar - a little goes a long way so do this carefully
- Use immediately as desired.
Notes
You may need to scale this recipe up or down depending on what you are using it for.
Use this to glaze a pound cake, or brush over a batch of sugar cookies warm from the oven.
